The preamble[1] to the American Bar Association’s Rules of Professional Conduct describes a lawyer’s duties as public citizens. Among our duties is to improve access to the legal system through “furthering the public’s understanding and confidence in the rule of law and the justice system.”  The Marker Law Firm takes this duty seriously.  It is the core to what we do!  Whether we are writing a contract for a client, advising a client on issues relating to employee management, or educating a client about the constitution, our primary mission is to assure that our clients are more empowered as citizens than they were before they engaged us.

Dispute Resolution

Dispute Resolution Services including Negotiation Management, Arbitration and Mediation: It can be stressful and costly to go to court. Trained to mediate disputes, Mr. Marker is well-suited to help two or more individuals come to agreeable and affordable resolutions of their problems. In some instances, it is appropriate for Mr. Marker to serve as an arbitrator, someone who listens to each side of an issue and recommends or orders a legally correct and fair resolution. In other cases, it is appropriate for Mr. Marker to serve as a mediator, namely assisting the parties in negotiating their own disputes. Mr. Marker’s services can help you come to a just and fair resolution, namely one that not only resolves past disputes, but one that minimizes the risk of future disputes.
